Treasury Analyst Required in Dubai

Norvic Shipping Middle East DMCC is seeking a high-energy, efficient and versatile Treasury Analyst to join the Company in our Dubai, United Arab Emirates Location.

As a Treasury Analyst, you are responsible for the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and Responsibilities

Initiate wires, ACH, and intercompany transfers daily
Perform bank account verification for all new vendors
Perform sanctions/OFAC check on new vendors as per Company’s policy
Work with accounts payable to ensure all approved invoices are in line for payment
Apply daily receipts and disbursements on Oracle NetSuite
Update management reports including reports required for Daily Transactions and Pending Payment Lists
Provide daily reports to accounting on cash receipts and cash disbursements by customers and vendors.
Download wire transfer reports from the banking portal daily, for all disbursed funds
Coordinate with charterers, vendors and brokers on priority payments
All other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

2-3 years in finance or accounting with exposure to cash management
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline
Ability to work with excel and Sharepoint in a fast paced environment
Experience with HSBCnet, Oracle NetSuite, IMOS and SEDNA a plus
Shipping Industry experience a plus

Willingness to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business requirements
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a time sensitive and dynamic environment
Must be able to work well with others and independently
