Senior Legal Officer - Dubai

We’re hiring a Senior Legal Officer to join our Legal & Compliance team in Dubai. This role will support daily legal functions across the business, focusing on contract lifecycle management, subsidiary and regulatory compliance, and coordination with government and free-zone authorities to ensure the company meets local legal requirements.
What You’ll Do:
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts including sales agreements, procurement contracts, NDAs and employment contracts in line with UAE Law (including Labor Law No. 33/2021).
• Maintain contract repositories and compliance trackers, manage renewal schedules and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Oversee trade license renewals, MoCAD filings and free zone reporting to keep corporate records current and compliant.
• Liaise with PROs for attestation and document legalization, ensuring proper authentication for corporate documents.
• Support regulatory compliance matters such as AML obligations, consumer protection, and advertising standards.
• Prepare corporate documents including powers of attorney, board resolutions and minutes.
• Assist with dispute management and litigation support for matters progressing through local courts or regulatory channels.
What We’re Looking For:
• LL.B. degree plus local legal accreditation; a paralegal or equivalent certification is advantageous.
• 3–5 years of legal experience, with at least 2 years of hands-on local UAE experience.
• Strong knowledge of UAE laws, government processes and compliance requirements.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is a plus.
• Proficiency with MS Office and e-gov portals (e.g., Tasheel) and familiarity with corporate governance processes.
