Job Title: Senior Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller

Responsibilities

Handle financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting
Provide analysis on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
Perform monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
Supply Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
Participate in various department-wide initiatives
Work with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures and controls and provide support on special requests
Produce monthly consolidated P& L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management purposes

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree. CPA highly preferred
8+ years of practical work experience leveraging global processes and tools in areas of intercompany, multi-currency consolidations and financial reporting
High level of skills in accounting, US GAAP, accounting processes
Experience working in a global organization where leading and driving change
Strong technical skills including knowledge of GAAP and sound understanding of financial statements
Good understanding of overall business processes within Finance, general ledger systems and foreign currency translation
Excellent written, verbal communication, and presentation skill
Engages effectively in self-directed time management and prioritization of workload
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Accounting Software Systems experience
SOX internal control assessments (Section 404) experience
