Job Description

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on expertise in preparing financial reports and analysis.
Responsibilities

Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including but not limited to, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Conduct thorough financial analysis to support decision-making processes and strategic planning.
Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review and analysis.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal policies.
Utilize advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, to create comprehensive presentations and reporting models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
Demonstrate proficiency in accounting software, with preference given to candidates familiar with Oracle and/or SAP.
Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of tax filings and other financial documentation.
Stay abreast of industry developments and changes in accounting practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from a reputable institution.
Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CMA, CA, or equivalent.
Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the UAE.
Strong technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office applications and accounting standards.
Demonstrated ability to create compelling presentations and reporting models using PowerPoint.
Knowledge of Oracle and/or SAP software is highly desirable.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
