Senior Accountant Required in Dubai

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, monthly MIS, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.

Responsibilities

Understanding, analyzing and posting monthly consolidation journals
Setting up, tracking and facilitating status calls throughout month-end close with various stakeholders (e.g., local, regional, central teams)
Communicate and liaise with various teams regarding progress/status of month-end close (e.g. management reporting team, cash flow team, etc.) to ensure alignment and delivery of timely financials
Summarizing intercompany mismatches and leading calls with relevant teams to spearhead clearing of mismatches
Work closely with Corporate Finance Systems team to address any reporting system issues during month-end close process
Facilitating Group audit and providing support to audit requests and queries during annual external audits
Monitor Financial matters of the assigned subsidiaries including monthly MIS.
Oracle experience would be a preference

Qualifications

5+ years' of professional accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
CMA preferred
