We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant for our real states business. As an Accountant in our organization, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations within the real estate sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions: Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for real estate projects. Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide variance analysis.
Tax Compliance: Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including property taxes, sales taxes, and income taxes related to real estate transactions.
Lease Administration: Maintain records of lease agreements, rental payments, and tenant deposits. Calculate and invoice tenants for rent, CAM charges, and other expenses as per lease terms.
Cost Control: Monitor and control costs associated with real estate projects, including construction costs, maintenance expenses, and property management fees.
Compliance and Regulations: Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and compliance requirements relevant to the real estate industry. Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of real estate investments, including ROI calculations, NPV analysis, and IRR calculations. Provide insights to support decision-making on real estate acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing activities.
Audit Support: Assist in the preparation of audit schedules and provide necessary documentation and support during external audits of real estate entities.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Previous experience in accounting or finance roles within the real estate industry preferred.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Knowledge of real estate accounting principles.
