ROLE: RESERVATION AGENT
PURPOSE OF JOB
Our Reservations Team are natural organizers, sales driven with finicky attention to detail and totally tuning into guests needs. They are first class and strive to deliver Mygolf Dubai hospitality experience that is beyond expectation - creating memorable moments for our guests.
As Reservations Agent, you will join a team that is passionate about delivering exceptional service where we believe that anything is possible, whilst having fun in all that we do.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports the smooth running of the reservations department, where all aspects of the guest journey and experience are delivered to the highest level.
Works as part of a team that maximizes guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest enquiries and problem resolution.
Takes responsibility for the duties and tasks assigned to the role, ensuring that all work is carried out in a timely and professional manner.
Delivers on departmental plans and objectives, where Mygolf Dubai initiatives & targets are achieved.
Collaborates with their immediate report, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, that productivity and performance levels are attained.
Builds and maintains effective working relationships whilst promoting the company culture and values.
Ensures adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit, performing follow-up as required.
Greets guests over the phone in a friendly, courteous manner.
Records reservation information accurately.
Informs other departments of VIP arrivals.
Records and processes deposit information.
Identifies and records special billing instructions; approves credit after consultation with the reservations manager.
Records requests for special accommodation and suites.
Uses up-selling techniques.
Utilizes guest history files for personalized service at Mygolf Dubai.
Maximizes customer satisfaction and company revenue by promoting Mygolf Dubai Cafe and other services and facilities to the guests.
Deals with assigned incoming correspondence, faxes and reservation messages in a timely and accurate manner.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Customer-service experience.
Minimum 2+ years of experience as Reservation Agent.
Relevant Experience in golf industry / Food & Beverage (F&B) Industry.
Previous Experience with Pre-Opening/Start-up Company.
Commitment to delivering exceptional guest service with a passion for the golf industry.
Hands-on approach with a can-do work style.
Ability to find creative solutions taking ownership for duties and tasks assigned.
Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence.
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and have excellent customer service skills.
Flexible working hours.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
You should be fluent in English; Chinese & Arabic language is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour.
Excellent analytical, problem solving and time-management skills.
Strong work ethic and customer-centric mindset.
Ability to adapt and perform duties in a multicultural environment.
