Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Pastry Chef based in Dubai. The Pastry Chef will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide variety of delicious desserts and pastries, including cakes, tarts, brownies, cookies, croissants, bread, and more. They will also work closely with the kitchen manager and other chefs to create new and exciting menu items and ensure that all items are prepared with the highest quality standards.

Qualifications

2-3 years of experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant or hotel
Ability to read and follow recipes, including conversion of measurements and scaling recipes up and down to adjust portions as needed
Experience working with a wide variety of baking and pastry equipment, including ovens, mixers, sheeter, and more
Ability to use a variety of decorating techniques to create visually stunning desserts and pastries
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
Degree/diploma from a culinary school or relevant work experience as a pastry chef
