Role Description

This is a contract on-site role for an Ophthalmologist based in Ras Al Khaimah at Marhaba Medical Center. The Ophthalmologist will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries, as well as prescribing medications and corrective lenses. Additionally, the Ophthalmologist will regularly perform eye exams and surgeries to maintain or restore patients’ vision.

Qualifications

Medical degree from an accredited institution, and a specialization in Ophthalmology
Valid medical license MOH to practice as an Ophthalmologist in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah
Experience diagnosing and treating a variety of eye diseases and injuries
Extensive knowledge in the prescription and fitting of eyeglasses and contact lenses
Proficient in the use of advanced medical equipment such as lasers and surgical tools
Excellent communication skills and bedside manner
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in a team-oriented environment
Strong attention to detail and outstanding problem-solving skills
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in an Ophthalmologist role, but new graduates are welcome to apply
Knowledge of medical software applications would be an asset but is not mandatory
