IT System Engineer Required in Dubai

The IT System Engineer role provides 1st line IT support for enterprise customers.

KEY COMPETENCIES

· Windows server knowledge

· Linux/Unix knowledge

· Basic networking

Language

· Arabic (Spoken/Written)

· English (Spoken/Written)

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Provide 1st and 2nd Tier support for ME clients.

· Performs tasks in compliance with corporate security programs and change management processes.

· Respond to all job failures, identify cause and resolve or issues with in a predefined SLA’s.

· Research and escalate more complex issues to core support as needed.

· Implement, maintain and champion Group and regional IT best practice.

· Ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all work practices in line with company policies.

· Provide regular work status updates, including risks or concerns, to line manager.

· Attend and contribute in team and project meetings as required.

· Contribute to the delivery of the business unit strategy. Including supporting the companies approach to sustainability.

· Complete accurate timesheets by set deadline.

· Feedback on all business development opportunities.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS

· Service Level Agreement performance

· Client feedback

· Accuracy of work

· Meeting targets and deadlines

· Achievement of individual business objectives
