IT Support Technician Required in Dubai - Dubai

IT Support Technician Required in Dubai

Lean is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Support Technician to join its growing IT Department. The role is ideal for someone looking to work within a fast-paced startup environment and can combine hands-on technical ability with a strong, customer-focused mindset.

About The Role

Lean is building the groundwork for FinTech in the MENA region. Having recently closed our Series A, we are looking for a candidate who can take on the internal technical support requirements of our Dubai office, as well as providing remote support to our other locations throughout the MENA region and London. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate experience providing support to a broad cross-section of staff across multiple disciplines, and naturally cultivate a strong sense of ownership over their responsibilities.

Strong, hands-on experience with MacOS and Apple products is essential, as Lean is a Mac-only environment. Hands-on experience working with MDM platforms (such as Jamf) is also desirable. As one of the first hires in the IT Department, this role calls for someone capable of working with a high degree of autonomy and initiative, who can act as a reliable first point of contact in our Dubai office, while simultaneously working within the wider IT team.

Who we are

Lean Technologies provides access to a universal API that unlocks critical financial infrastructure for fintechs across the MENA region. The Lean API provides developers with easy access to build the next generation of cutting-edge financial solutions.

With the Lean API, fintechs can seamlessly connect to their customer's bank accounts to initiate payments and retrieve account information, such as balance and transaction history — all while providing the customer with absolute control over their data and money.

Responsibilities
Provide first and second line technical support to staff in our Dubai office.
Log, resolve and escalate incidents and service requests.
Perform technical onboarding of new hires throughout the MENA region.
Create and update documentation for Lean’s services and processes.
Establish working relationships with other departments and staff within Lean.
Handle and monitor feedback received from Lean’s staff.
Work with suppliers and third parties to procure equipment and software.
Support the wider Lean team throughout the MENA region and London.

Requirements
Demonstrable experience providing technical support in a startup or rapid growth environment.
Strong experience providing support for MacOS and Apple products.
Ability to manage competing priorities in the face of challenging timescales and communicate progress clearly.
Ability to isolate the root cause of issues, resolving them pragmatically and efficiently and avoiding dead-ends or time-wasting exercises.
Impeccable sense of ownership and conscientiousness towards their responsibilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to speak to a diverse range of audiences.
Strong drive to provide an excellent customer experience.
NB. While we think the above experience could be important, we’re keen to hear from people that believe they have valuable experience to bring to the role. If you identify with the team and mission, but not all of our requirements, then please still apply!!
