A Snapshot of the Role:

L’Couture is looking for an HR Manager to support our ambitious growth journey, someone who will lead on a wide range of key business processes and HR systems. These include recruiting, selection, and onboarding of both permanent & outsourced personnel, training and development, performance management, compensation & benefits, employee engagement programs, employee relations and compliance, data processing, reporting and management, communications and change management. Most of all, this person will work closely with management to drive our People vision and shape our culture within our principles and processes.

What the role entails:

The ideal candidate will

Be responsible for the full spectrum of HR services and operations including recruitment, Compensation & Benefits, onboarding and offboarding, employee engagement and relations, organizational design, employee and labor relations, HR operations, performance management, talent management and development, etc
Own all people guidelines & processes, and implementing best practices for the business, aligning to the size and stage of growth that we are at
Work closely with Management in developing and implementing Human Resources programs and strategies which align to business priorities.
Facilitate and coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities during the Employee life cycle, ensuring the processes reflect L’Couture’s People values while providing a positive experience.
Work closely with the Recruitment Lead on the Company’s people growth plans, anticipating & delivering to staffing requirements.
Ensure timely & accurate administration of payroll, leave management, and maintain accurate and updated employee data in a consistent & confidential manner.
Drive
efficient change management in relation to the people agenda as & when required in the organization
the performance management process of the company including the objective setting, review & calibration processes
capability planning & execution process through a structured development framework
Assist management on People matters such as C&B review, HR analytics, rewards & engagement initiatives
Address and manage a broad spectrum of employee relations matters, and work to resolve them through a systematic approach, adhering to company policies, local employment laws, and best practices
Manage all compliance, labour related and day-to-day HR operations for the business
Ensure key performance indicators are continuously improved to capture effectiveness of people processes
We’d expect the ideal candidate for the role to possess the following skills and attributes:

Prior experience of at least 7-8 years in a People function, with at least 3 years+ in a managerial capacity, ready to take on a more independent role for a growing business
Retail experience is highly desirable, though not mandatory.
Familiarity with start-ups and businesses at growing to scale of the Business Life Cycle is a definite advantage.
Has worked in the Middle East region for at least 2-3 years in a managerial capacity
Have worked in a generalist/ HR business partnership role
Qualified in Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field
Well-rounded HR experience in the UAE region, experience with local labour laws, policies, work visa process etc.
A good team player who is passionate working with people, flexible and adaptive to change, detail-minded, highly organized, empathetic & resourceful
Ability to define problems, establish facts, analyze situations, and provide suggestions
A strong work ethic and positive attitude, with a willingness to be flexible and go the extra mile to support the team
Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with an ability to adapt communication styles to effectively partner with different stakeholders
Good stakeholder management and solid communications skills, able to manage expectations effectively with discretion, and convey information in an accurate manner
Strong computer skills in MS Office such as Word, Excel, PPT, office 365, SharePoint, HRIS systems
