We are looking for a (Human Resources) HR Generalist to join our robust team to implement various human resources programs at Gulf Scientific Corporation (GSC) and its subsidiaries in the GCC region.

An HR Generalist is a core member of the Human Resources Division of the Company. Based at the operational Headquarters in Dubai, UAE, your role as an HR Generalist will be far from one-dimensional. You’ll act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics. You'll also work very closely with various HR personnel on various HR operations. This is a hands-on role wherein you will act as the main point of contact for employees’ queries on HR-related topics.

The goal is to ensure the HR department’s operations will be running smoothly & efficiently to deliver maximum value to the organization as a whole.

Responsibilities

Act as the custodian of the talent acquisition and recruitment process at the Company across all of its regional operations by liaising between internal Hiring Managers & external recruitment agencies.

Support the Department's main functions related to general employee services from pre-employment and employment to post-employment and separation.

Conduct employee onboarding programs and organize orientation initiatives.

Work closely with other HR personnel on the implementation of HR processes and practices related to training and career development, compensation and benefits, performance management and other HR operations.

Promote HR programs to create an efficient, equitable, inclusive and conflict-free workplace.

Assist in the implementation of human resource policies as developed by the Division.

Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.

Organize quarterly and annual employee salary and performance reviews.

Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.

Ensure compliance with labor laws & regulations both in the United Arab Emirates as well as the GCC region.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HR Generalist. Experience in the UAE or the GCC region will be considered advantageous.

BSc/BA in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or relevant field. Additional academic and specifically HR training/certifications are a plus.

Demonstrable understanding of the golden standard of human resources policies, procedures & practices.

Good knowledge of UAE and GCC region employment and labor laws.

Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. SalesForce, Oracle HRMS or an equivalent).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Arabic is preferred.

Aptitude in problem-solving.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
