Graphic Designer Required in Dubai

Monthly Rate: USD 850

Number of Paid Hours Per Week: 40 hours

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM CST (includes 1-hour unpaid break)

Work Arrangement: Work from home

Contract: Independent Contractor

Side Note: Since this is a permanent work-from-home position and the arrangement is that of an “Independent Contractor,” the selected candidates must have their own computer and internet connection. They will handle their own benefits and taxes. The professional fees are on hourly rates and the rate depends on your performance in the application process.

Responsibilities

Canva Infrastructure & Brand Setup
Establish and maintain Canva Brand Kits, including logos, color palettes, fonts, and imagery.
Create Canva folders, permissions, and file organization systems for efficient team collaboration.
Develop and document best practices for team usage, including version control, file naming conventions, and access protocols.
Implement and manage Canva Teams setup to ensure consistent branding across all content creators.
Template Creation & Management
Design a comprehensive suite of branded templates (social media, presentations, flyers, proposals, newsletters).
Ensure all templates adhere to brand standards and are optimized for usability and flexibility by non-designers.
Continuously update and refine templates to align with evolving brand goals.
Design & Content Production
Adapt designs for multiple formats and channels, ensuring consistency across print, digital, and social media platforms.
Brand Governance & Support
Serve as the internal Canva expert and brand steward—training teams on how to use templates and maintain brand integrity.
Audit existing designs and materials for consistency and identify opportunities for improvement.
Partner with marketing leadership to evolve brand visuals and templates in line with strategic goals.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

5+ years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on digital and brand design.
Proven mastery of Canva, including advanced functions such as brand kits, templates, shared team spaces, and permissions.
Ability to set up and manage design systems within Canva or similar platforms.
Experience in training and supporting teams to use design tools effectively.
Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and communication.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in marketing or brand environments with multiple stakeholders.
Background in brand management or systemized creative processes.
Understanding of accessibility and responsive design principles.
