General Accountant Required in Dubai

We are a stealth start-up with the potential to become the best Pan Asian fine dining restaurant in the UAE and beyond.

We are looking for an Accountant who will be responsible for supporting our daily operations and work with our senior management in developing financial strategies for the organization. You will act as the business partner, decision maker, and providing regular financial reporting.

Responsibilities

Managing all accounting transactions Financial forecasting and risk analysis
Handling monthly quarterly and annual closings
Reconciling accounts payable and receivable
Responsible for the preparation, filing, payment & review of VAT-related returns
Managing balance sheets and profit-loss statements
Reporting on the company s financial health and liquidity
Auditing financial transactions and documents
Complying with financial policies and regulations

Qualifications

Qualified Accountant ‐ CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA
Minimum of 3 years experience in general accounting functions
Must have experience in working in small or start-up business
Must have experience in Vat Filing/ Vat Returns
Must have experience in Forecasting/Budgeting
Ability to perform as one-man department
Knowledgeable in accounting software
Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Knowledgeable of financial regulations
Detail-oriented and analytical
