Web Application Developer Required in Dubai

This position will work closely with the Website team with focus on front-end development and customer facing online services such as websites, mobile apps, internet sites. Web Applications developer will take ownership and lead the development in delivering the web application solutions. Web application developer will work with project managers, system administrator and functional users to define and create the solutions from the idea stage through their full development lifecycle and will be working closely with the business.

Responsibilities:

• Working with project managers and business users to understand the requirements of the business.

• Design the solutions that best fits the business needs.

• Comfortable working on their own on the web front-end, back end, service layer or database

• Developing front-end website architecture to provide functional and intuitive user interfaces.

• Developing back end website applications.

• Creating servers and databases for functionality.

• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones and responsiveness of applications.

• Working alongside marketing team to design web applications features.

• Take a project from Idea stage to launch of the application.

• Designing and developing APIs.

• Review the team’s code, mentor junior members of the team.

• Continuous self-development to keep up with the modern web development frameworks.

• Keep up-to-date on best practices and new technologies.

• Develop and establish Web development guidelines and standards for the team.

• Manage and maintain Internal and External non-ERP web applications.

• Ensure continuous improvement and the maximum utilization of the content management systems.

Skills and knowledge:

Bachelor in Information Technology or Computer Science or Equivalent
Sitefinity Development Certification Preferred.

3 years of experience as web developer (front end or full stack)
Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role
Proficiency in multiple front-end languages and libraries (HTML/ CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery)
Proficiency JavaScript frameworks such as Angular JS, React and Node.js.
Proficiency with server-side languages such as .NET, PHP, Python, Ruby.
Familiarity with database technology such as MS SQL, Oracle, and MongoDB.
Understanding of key design principles
Understanding of server-side CSS such as LESS and SASS.
Proficiency with UI frameworks such as Bootstrap, Angular, jQuery
Proficiency with UI toolkits and frameworks such as Telerik UI, Flutter etc
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility
Experience with graphic design applications such as Adobe Illustrator.
Proficiency in designing interfaces and building clickable prototypes using Sketch, InVision etc
Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
Understanding of SEO principles.
Experience with .NET development
Proficiency with code versioning tools such as Git
Familiarity with mobile application development platforms
Familiar with RESTful services and APIs
Experience with Progress Sitefinity Content Management System
Experience with other Content Management Systems such as Wordpress, Sitecore, Drupal etc
Familiar with Bubble Low Code Development platform.
English is a must
Arabic is not required
Ability to complete the tasks with minimal guidance
Ability to work on multiple projects at same time
Quick learner of new web development frameworks.
