Role Description The Tax Accountant role at BookBI is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Tax Accountant will handle day-to-day tax preparation and compliance activities, ensuring accurate and timely filing in accordance with UAE regulations. Responsibilities include reviewing financial statements, validating accounting records, preparing tax computations and reports, and collaborating with internal teams to address tax-related queries. The role also involves monitoring changes in tax laws, advising on tax-efficient practices, supporting audits, and contributing to the improvement of BookBI’s AI-powered accounting tools through feedback based on practical tax and accounting use cases.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Tax, Tax Preparation, and Tax Compliance.

Solid understanding of UAE tax regulations (including corporate tax and VAT) and local reporting requirements.
Relevant bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
Experience working with accounting software or AI-powered financial tools, with high proficiency in Excel and digital workflows.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial and tax data.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
Demonstrated ability to work ethically, maintain confidentiality, and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
