Looking for Senior Manager - Production - Plastic Bottles Manufacturing company in Dubai Industrial City, UAE.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager- Production to oversee the daily operations of our plastic bottle manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining product quality, optimizing resources, and leading a team to meet output targets while adhering to safety and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Management:
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate daily production activities to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.
• Monitor and control production processes including injection molding, blow molding, and assembly.
• Ensure adherence to manufacturing standards, specifications, and quality guidelines.
Team Leadership:
• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff (operators, technicians, shift supervisors).
• Maintain high levels of team engagement, discipline, and performance.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback and coaching.
Process Improvement:
• Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Introduce lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives
Quality Control:
• Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to ensure all bottles meet internal and customer quality standards.
• Investigate and resolve production quality issues in a timely manner.
Maintenance Coordination:
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is operating optimally and downtime is minimized.
• Assist in planning preventive maintenance schedules.
Health & Safety:
• Enforce safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
Inventory & Materials:
• Manage raw material usage, minimize scrap, and ensure timely reordering of supplies.
• Coordinate with the warehouse for proper storage and handling of materials.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in plastic manufacturing (injection/blow molding).
• Strong knowledge of plastic processing machinery and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational abilities.
• Proficiency in production planning software (ERP/MRP systems) and MS Office.

Working Conditions:
• Based in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery noise, heat, and moving equipment.
• May require shift work or extended hours depending on production needs.
