Senior Information Technology Manager Required in Dubai

We are looking for a dynamic individual who will be responsible for managing the company’s Information Technology department staff, projects, strategies, budgets, vendors and third parties.

Moreover, who will be responsible for establishing IT infrastructure and standards in-line with company’s current projects requirements and future growth opportunities.

Job Responsibilities:

Organizational:

o Manage the IT team professionals, coach them, monitor and control their deliverables, plan and monitor their career development, enforce system policies, standards and procedures;

o Proactively recommend to management plans to grow, reorganize and restructure the IT department, based on current and future projects requirements;

o Maintain quality service by maintaining and enforcing organization standards;

o Establish IT communication and collaboration systems and processes including news broadcast, shared documentation libraries, help desk process and system, research and development collaboration features....

· Financial:

o Estimate the IT department budgets on a quarterly basis and/or annual basis;

o Maintain visibility to management on budget actualization on a monthly basis, highlighting financial risks due to variance as and when identified, and initiating corrective actions;

o Establish a procurement cost optimization process allowing efficient evaluation and selection of vendors, materials, services, and running expenditures related to the IT department.

· Project Related:

o The company is currently undergoing a major IT revamp through a variety of information technology projects including CRM, ERP, Electronic Channels, Media Processing and Streaming, Enterprise Services and Integration, Marketing, Programming and Scheduling …etc. The Senior IT Manager is expected to:

§ Quickly and efficiently get acquainted with all running and future projects;

§ Evaluate the existing IT department staffing, technology infrastructure, processes and standards, and recommend a major plan to cater for project internal requirements in staffing, training, infrastructure, processes, support, maintenance, security & business continuity;

§ Establish a project control process to manage technology suppliers’ contracts, scope of work, deadlines, deliverables, project status reporting, payments, penalties, intellectual property, non-disclosure, licensing …etc.

§ Ensure that all company’s project stakeholders and committed internal team members’ involvement in time, material and deliverables are met as per the agreed project timelines and scope;

§ Establish a business support entity within the IT department during projects, made of internal and/or sub-contracted resources (Subject Matter Experts), that would be responsible of providing for each project the business requirements, quality control and inspection, acceptance of deliverables, change management …etc.

§ Plan and supervise the execution of knowledge transfer activities, including supplier take-over, software and hardware products training & end-user training

Skills & Personal Qualities:

Experience:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT management or supervision

· Minimum 5 years as a team member in software projects

· Experience in the retail industry would be preferable

· Experience in Agile (SCRUM) project methodology would be a plus

. Experience in project management / tracking tools (Jira, TFS, MS Projects …etc.)

. Certifications: TOGAF, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma
