Role Description

Manage a portfolio of assigned clients, ensuring accurate and timely completion of accounting tasks.
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with international accounting standards (IAS/IFRS) and UAE regulations.
Maintain detailed general ledger records, ensuring proper classification and recording of transactions.
Perform account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns for various UAE taxes (VAT, Corporate Tax, Excise Tax, etc.)
Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to clients.
Prepare financial reports and presentations for clients and management.
Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Stay updated on changes in accounting standards and tax regulations.
Collaborate effectively with other team members, including auditors and external advisors.

Minimum Qualifications

Accounting Degree (CA/ACCA/CPA/) is a must.
Minimum of 2 - 5 years of experience as a Senior Accountant within an accounting firm.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Experience with accounting software (e.g.,ZohoBooks, QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Strong understanding of International Accounting Standards (IAS/IFRS) and UAE tax regulations.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus.
