Global Corp Group is a privately held holding company headquartered in the UAE’s Abu Dhabi Emirate. It has a diverse and vast portfolio of restaurants and an investment firm.

The restaurant brands that make up the group’s 55+ (brick and mortar) restaurant portfolio across the UAE are Bio Café, Just Burger, Just Fresh and Al Pasha Gourmet, Chick N Crunch and more.

Food and Beverages with quick service restaurant experience is must.

The candidate should have at least 4 – 7 years of experience within the F&B, Hospitality or Restaurants industry.

Reports Directly to Financial Controller, The Senior Accountant must provide trustworthy information about financial records.

A successful Senior accountant combines excellent analytical skills with a thorough knowledge of accounting principles to analyze financial reports and forecasts. The ideal candidate must have experience collaborating and/or managing a team of accountants and junior accountants.

This person must utilize hands-on accounting experience and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and company practices. As a Senior accountant you must analyze a complex financial record. You will oversee a company's accounting operations. This person must regulate and authenticate financial transactions and maintain an accurate ledger to ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks.

Responsibilities:

Bookkeeping, prepares asset, liability, and capital accounts entries by compiling and analyzing account information.

Ability to handle accounts payable & receivable maintain vendor and customer relationship

Monitor Accounting process ensure accurate & timely processing of data under correct cost centers & general ledger codes Maintains accounting controls as per accounting standards

Reconcile financial discrepancies, Bank, Supplier, customer, Third party & Intercompany.

Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information

Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process Schedule and coordinate monthly physical Food and Beverage inventories.

Responsible for Food & Beverage balance sheet account reconciliation, expense analysis, and various operational analysis.

Assist the Financial Controller in the preparation of annual budgets, cash flow forecasts and monthly cash flows, P & L and ensure submission as per set deadline Monitoring the internal control issues and any deviations identified

Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

Maintains and develop accounting controls and policies by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

Liaising with Procurement team, Sales & Marketing teams, Human Resource and legal department in terms of finance related aspects

Play a major role in finalizing of Internal and external audits of the Company

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements:

Be available to work open schedule as needed.

Required Education and Experience Master's degree in accounting is required

Minimum 5 years of experience for accounts handling

Experience within the restaurant industry is preferred.

Experience with accounting software Dynamics 365 will be add advantage.

Proficient skill level in MS Office Word, Excel, Outlook, and Power Point

Strong problem solving and analytic skills

Ability to work in a team environment

Highly organized and must have high interpersonal skills

Must have effective communication skills

Time management and planning skills
