Hiring: Senior Accountant – Group Costing & Budgeting
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant with a strong focus on costing and budgeting to lead group-wide cost management and forecasting across multiple business lines. This role suits someone who enjoys redesigning financial models, improving profitability levers, and building automated reporting that supports faster, smarter decisions. Immediate joiners will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement and maintain sophisticated costing methodologies (e.g., ABC, Zero-Based, Activity-Based costing).
• Create and roll out a unified budgeting framework that includes real-time variance tracking and automated reconciliation.
• Develop predictive cost models and rolling forecasts to improve planning accuracy.
• Identify and remove intercompany inefficiencies to enhance group profitability.
• Automate budget vs. actual reporting and develop financial dashboards for management insight.
What You Bring:
• Strong background in costing and budgeting with a minimum of ~5 years' hands-on experience.
• Advanced Excel expertise, including VBA, Power Query and Power Pivot.
• A proven track record of delivering meaningful cost savings and process improvements.
• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA or CMA is preferred.
• Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work across divisions to implement change.
