We are seeking a proactive *Sales Coordinator* with 1–2 years experience to support our Government Projects division in automobile manufacturing. You will coordinate tendering, client liaison, and order execution for supply of vehicles, components, and fleet solutions to government entities, defense, municipalities, and public sector undertakings across the UAE. This role bridges sales, technical, legal, and production teams to ensure compliance and timely delivery on government contracts.
*Key Responsibilities*
*1. Government Tender & Bid Coordination*
Monitor government portals and e-procurement platforms for new automotive/fleet tenders, RFQs, and RFPs.
Assist in preparing tender documents: technical compliance sheets, commercial bids, certifications, and bank guarantees.
Coordinate with engineering, production, and finance teams to compile accurate proposals within deadlines.
Ensure submissions meet all regulatory, localization, and ministry requirements.
*2. Client Relationship & Account Management*
Act as coordinator for government clients, ministries, and public sector fleet departments.
Support senior staff in client meetings, technical presentations, and vehicle demos for government stakeholders.
Handle queries, clarifications, and documentation requests from procurement officers.
*3. Sales Operations & Order Execution*
Prepare quotations, proformas, and contract drafts per government terms.
Track orders from award to delivery: production updates, inspection, registration, and handover.
Maintain records of contracts, amendments, delivery notes, invoices, and follow up on payments.
Ensure compliance with warranty, service agreements, and ICV/localization requirements.
*4. Market Intelligence & Compliance*
Track competitor participation and pricing in government automotive tenders.
Stay updated on UAE government procurement laws and vendor registration requirements.
Provide weekly reports on pipeline, bid status, and revenue forecasts for the government vertical.
*5. Cross-Functional Collaboration*
Work with production, quality, logistics, and aftersales to ensure contract adherence.
Coordinate with finance for EMD, PBG, and milestone invoicing.
Represent the company at pre-bid meetings and industry forums when required.
*Key Requirements*
Must-Have
1–2 years in sales coordination, tendering, or government client handling. Automotive/manufacturing background is a strong plus.
Fluency in *Arabic and English* – must draft formal letters, bids, and communicate with ministries.
Basic understanding of UAE government procurement process and documentation.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage deadlines.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word; ERP/CRM knowledge preferred.
High integrity and discretion with confidential pricing and bids.
Preferred
Arab candidate preferred for government liaison requirements.
Valid UAE driving license for client visits and submissions.
Own visa or visit visa with ability to transfer.
Familiarity with automotive technical specs and vendor registration on portals like DGS, ADQ, MOF.
