1. Job Purpose

Ensure all section displays are arranged with high-quality products, appealing and fresh to attract customers.
Provide outstanding customer service to customers and always ensure that Sharjah Co-op is positively promoted.

2. Key Accountabilities

Ensure shelf label is updated and all promotional items are well highlighted with proper prices.
Ensure that the shelves, display, working, and storage area is clean, and hygiene, quality, health & safety policies, and procedures are always adhered to.
Fill displays and shelves with products and ensure that the displays/shelves are presented all the time to attract customers and according to the planogram.
Check products continuously on the shelves, remove any damaged items (packaging/product) to comply with internal quality standards and applicable laws and regulations.
Report any shortage of merchandise immediately to ensure timely refill of stock.
Instruct workers on filling shelves, handling the products appropriately, and ensuring they follow the instructions correctly to maintain the highest product quality.
·Answer customers inquiries related to product information (such as origin, storage.)
Support the development of new products assortment, propose additional products to attract and retain customers and remain competitive.
Regularly inspect all tools, equipment and displays, ensure it is working correctly and report immediately any malfunctions or damages.
Practice safe working procedures, identify potential hazards and recommend improvements to standard procedures.
Dispose of waste as instructed and in line with the set procedures.
Ensure compliance with all policies, laws, regulations, internal procedures, service level agreements and food safety and sanitation requirements for the entire area.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the line manager.
