Job role:

Cathlab:

Demonstrate skill in assisting interventional cardiology procedures (CAG, PTCA, AICD, PPI etc.)
Demonstrate skill in identifying instruments, sets, as per the procedure and ensures the availability.
Check cleanliness and proper functioning of instruments, packs and send for autoclaving / gas sterilization.
Monitor patient’s vital signs as per protocol during pre, intra and post procedure and interpret patient data and hemodynamic responses.
Demonstrate ability to identify arrhythmias and cardiac arrest
Demonstrate skill in CPR, emergency drugs and other drugs used in Cath Lab.
Demonstrate skill on patient and family education regarding the procedure

ER:

Demonstrate excellent skills in triaging the patients.
Follow appropriate algorithm in emergency management (BLS, ACLS, PALS, PEARS, NRP)
Effectively cannulate the patients and ensures hydration.
Ensure safe transportation of critically ill patients with lifesaving equipment’s.
To have awareness and handles all medico legal cases and its sample dispatch.
Assist in ambulance service to transport patient in and out.
Demonstrate skill to transfer out patient to concern department as per the doctor’s instructions with a detailed hand over to the respective nursing staff.
Ensure safe transportation of critically ill patients with lifesaving equipment’s.
Be capable to handle patients with road traffic accident, burns and poisoning
To have awareness and handles all medico legal cases and its sample dispatch.
