QA/QC Inspector - Dubai

We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Inspector for our manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
• Preparation of Quality Control Procedures / Plans for Fabrication activities as per the project requirements.
• Preparation and implementation of the Project quality plan & ITP.
• Inspection of raw material according to procurement order (P.O.) and review of mill test certificate (MTC).
• Stage-wise inspection of welding. (fit up, directional orientation, Alignment, Joint preparation, root pass visual & NDT, Weld Visual, Final dimension & NDT)
• Inspection of welding for structural members and Fuel Tanks.
• Preparation of Fit up reports, Weld Visual Inspection reports, Hydro test reports, Test Packages, Punch list, NDT witness, ferrite test, PMI, Painting reports.
• Receiving RFI and attending inspections by coordinating with the Clients.
• Witnessed, checked, monitored, and inspected hydro/pneumatic test pressure as per codes and standards.
• Coordination with Client Representative/Third party inspectors/Suppliers for inspection requirements of the project
• Monitor the weather conditions and check the ambient Temperature, substrate temperature, dew point, and relative humidity before and during the work, and when necessary.
• Witnessing the Surface Preparation and paint mixing before coating application.
• Check Painting/Coating Application processes are carried out in accordance with Client-approved procedures & specifications. To ensure the Painting/Coating, Blasting as per the client specifications.
• Maintain internal and external NCR, assessment reports, and opportunities for improvements.
Requirements:
• Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering.
• Certification - CSWIP 3.2, BGAS or NACE, NDT Level 2.
• Experence in Generator enclosures, Generator canopies, Steel tanks, Steel structures, Welding inspection, Coating inspection, Piping, Skids, Oil and Gas projects.
