Job Purpose: The Public Health Design Engineer plays a vital role in the MEP team by undertaking public health design work and collaborating with a team of designers, graduates, and the BIM team. They contribute to the development of high-quality, sustainable technical solutions and provide technical expertise in public health design. Working under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers, they actively participate in the design process and ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with the design team and BIM team to develop innovative and efficient public health design solutions.
Assist in the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, calculations, and specifications related to public health systems.
Conduct technical research and analysis to support design decisions and optimize project performance in public health aspects.
Ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations in public health design.
Participate in design review meetings, presenting and defending design solutions to internal and external stakeholders.
Support the project team in the coordination and integration of public health designs into overall project deliverables.
Work closely with suppliers and contractors to ensure the availability and suitability of public health equipment and components.
Contribute to value engineering initiatives and cost optimization efforts within the design process.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in public health design technology and practices.
Collaborate with the team to resolve design issues and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle.
Assist in monitoring project progress and identifying potential risks or challenges.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of design processes and methodologies in public health design.

Required Qualification:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

Strong proficiency in relevant design software and tools.

Knowledge of industry codes, standards, and regulations in public health design.
