Professional Teacher Required in Dubai

Conducts all facets of golf instruction that take place on and off property for the Academy. This includes daily clinics, individual private instruction, junior programs, associate programs and all Academy business.

Essential duties :

Teaches private and group lessons.
Promotes the growth of golf by utilizing resources that the Golf Club Provides.
Participates in Hardware Demonstration days.
Maintains the teaching equipment, Lesson tee and storage areas.
Keeps an up to date and transparent Teaching diary.
Ensures proper utilization of Video equipment and software.
Responsible for maintaining excellent service to achieve guest satisfaction.
Adheres to new policies and procedures.
Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by Director of Instruction, Director of Club Operations and General Manager.
Works shop hours where appropriate.

Education/Experience :

Diploma/Degree from recognized Professional Golfers Association, with 6 months minimum experience. High School, College or University Degree education.

Language skills :

Will be required to read, analyze and present documents and reports to students and management.

Mathematical skills :

Will be required to calculate figures and statistical inference. Should be able to apply mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages and ratios to practical situations.

Reasoning ability :

Will be able to interpret instructions in written, oral diagram or schedule form as well as solve situations without formal guidelines.

Physical demands :

Regularly stands, walks and sits. Occasionally climbs, kneels, crawls, crouches and balances for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.

Vision :

Regularly uses vision for depth perception, color coding, peripheral vision and adjusting of focus.

Environment/noise :

The UAE has occasional hot and humid conditions. Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.

Certificates/Licenses:

Current PGA/LGPA Membership

Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences :

Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the associates may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).Preferably female candidates.
