IHCC UAE is seeking a talented Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UAE.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (a degree in Quantity Surveying is an added advantage).
Experience:
• 5-10 years of proven experience in the UAE as a procurement engineer in construction projects.
Required Skills:
• Expertise in drafting terms and conditions with a solid understanding of contract law and its legal implications.
• Proficiency in expediting, vendor quality surveillance, logistics (Incoterms, freight forwarding), and site materials control.
• Knowledge of local and global purchasing processes, as well as cross-border equipment and material movement.
• Strong commercial acumen in performance and risk mitigation, with exceptional commercial evaluation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus).
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• A valid UAE driving license is preferred.
Additional Details:
• Job Type: Full-time
• Salary: 12,000 to 15,000 AED
• Contract: Family status
• Candidates must be willing to relocate within the UAE.
