Power BI Specialist Required in Dubai

As a Power BI Specialist, you'll work closely with our project, commercial and business teams to develop data-driven solutions, improve reporting and turn complex information into clear, actionable insights.
What will you be doing?
Designing, developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports
Building robust data models and developing DAX measures and calculations
Using Power Query to transform, clean and prepare data from multiple sources
Working closely with stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective Power BI solutions
Developing dashboards covering project performance, cost management, financial and operational KPIs
Ensuring data accuracy, consistency and quality across reporting solutions
Optimising existing Power BI reports and improving their performance and usability
Automating manual reporting processes and identifying opportunities to improve business efficiency
Managing Power BI workspaces, security and access where required
Providing guidance and support to colleagues on Power BI and data visualisation
Keeping up to date with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and wider data and analytics developments

What do you need?
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Engineering or a related discipline
Proven professional experience in Power BI development
Strong knowledge of DAX, Power Query and data modelling
Strong SQL and Excel skills
Experience working with multiple data sources and developing integrated reporting solutions
Previous experience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy
Previous experience within a construction consultancy, engineering, property, infrastructure or professional services environment is preferred
Experience with project controls, cost management or commercial reporting is beneficial
Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Azure or other Microsoft data technologies is an advantage
Microsoft Power BI certification is preferred
