Key Responsibilities
• Logistics Operations: Plan, coordinate, and monitor shipping, transportation, and warehousing, ensuring timely and cost-efficient delivery.
• Customs Compliance: Manage GCC customs regulations, shipping documentation, and liaise with customs authorities.
• Vendor Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with freight forwarders and logistics providers; negotiate contracts to optimize value.
• Team Leadership: Develop and guide the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and goal-oriented culture.
• Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs, analyze operations, and report insights to management.
• Qualifications
• Education: Bachelor’s in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years in logistics/supply chain, with expertise in GCC processes and sea freight.
• Skills: Strong customs knowledge, problem-solving, negotiation, and proficiency in logistics software.
