Join Our Team – Junior Accountant (UAE Experience Required)
We are looking for a proactive and detail-focused Junior Accountant to join our Finance team. In this role you will support daily accounting operations, help keep financial records accurate, ensure compliance with UAE financial rules, and assist in improving accounting processes and reporting.
Responsibilities:
✔ Maintain accounting records, ledgers and perform regular reconciliations.
✔ Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries and supporting schedules.
✔ Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows and monitor expense tracking.
✔ Support audits and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other applicable financial regulations.
✔ Suggest and help implement process improvements to streamline accounting and reporting.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline (or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounting experience in the UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE VAT rules and practical application.
• Proficient with MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, ERP systems, etc.).
• Excellent organizational skills and effective verbal/written communication.
