Jewelry Accountant Required in Dubai

Overview: We are currently seeking a skilled Jewelry Accountant with expertise in Visual ACE-Gold software and a strong understanding of jewelry accounting practices. The ideal candidate will also have knowledge of AML (Anti-Money Laundering) policy and screening, as well as experience in tax refund and corporate tax within the jewelry sector. This role demands excellent communication skills and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the jewelry industry.

Responsibilities:

Utilize Visual ACE-Gold software to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger functions specific to the jewelry industry.
Ensure compliance with AML policies and conduct necessary screenings as per regulatory requirements.
Handle tax refund processes and manage corporate tax filings for the organization.
Prepare financial statements, including income statements and balance sheets, with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with internal teams to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to improve business performance.
Conduct regular audits to verify the accuracy of financial records and transactions.

Requirements:

More than 5 years of experience working in the jewelry field, specifically in accounting roles.
Proficiency in Visual ACE-Gold software and other relevant accounting software.
Knowledge of AML policies and procedures, with experience in conducting screenings preferred.
Familiarity with tax refund processes and corporate tax requirements within the jewelry sector.
Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken).
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
