IT Project Coordinator Required in Dubai

We are looking to hire an IT Project Coordinator for our client in Dubai - one of the largest companies in the region. This role will directly support IT Manager with all application development and system implementation projects.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 6-12 months and is renewable.

IT Project Coordinator responsibilities include: supporting the IT manager, and working closely with the delivery team to prepare comprehensive action plans, including resources, timeframes and budgets for projects.

Thir role will support various IT Projects with a broad scope of responsibility, from simple activities to more complex plans.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinating IT project activities, resources, equipment and information
Engage with stakeholders with the purpose of identifying and defining requirements
Constantly updating the project’s, vendor’s and user’s needs during the curse of the project
Break down projects/work streams and time management for internal teams, while using specific project tools
Budget preparation support
Work on risk analysis activities
Support procurement management of projects
Monitor project progress along with any issues that arise
Manage project documentation
Be involved in the quality assurance process for the project

Knowledge, skills & experience:

Good communication skills.
BSc in Business Administration or related field
Experience as an IT Project Coordinator or similar role
Experience with preparation and interpretation of flowcharts, schedules and step-by-step action plans
Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time management.
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Experience in risk management, quality assurance control and procurement
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project or similar tools
Experience with the Agile PM approach is a plus. SCRUM Master preferably
PMP / PRINCE2 certification is a plus
