IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER Required in Dubai

ROLE: IT INFRASTRUCTURE MANAGER

REPORTING TO: HEAD OF IT

Manage the development and implementation of all aspects related to the IT infrastructure, as well as the provision of related services to ensure operability, capacity and reliability of the company's IT infrastructure and to meet the current and future needs of the company, in line with leading practices and as per set IT policies, procedures, service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards
Manage the process of building and maintaining a scalable and agile IT infrastructure (including hardware, networking, servers, storage, telephony and databases), and that of developing new infrastructure solutions that meet the company's operational and strategic requirements
Lead the development, review, and approval of IT infrastructure standards and principles, covering all IT systems, ensuring harmony with established quality guidelines
Define and manage the implementation of an effective and robust control (authorization), backup and security systems to safeguard and protect all IT operations and to ensure the reliability and integrity of data
Participate in the analysis and resolution of quality / security breaches and vulnerability issues in a timely manner, where required to ensure compliance to defined specifications / standards
Ensure that required documentation and relative training is provided on updates and fixes for infrastructure to facilitate effective system administration and maintenance of knowledge base
Lead the planning, management and control of the various stages of IT Infrastructure related projects to ensure projects are completed with agreed project parameters (cost budget, timelines, scope and quality), standards and objectives

REQUIREMENTS:

FAMILY BOOK IS A MUST
6-8 years of progressive experience with at least 4 years in a managerial / supervisory role
Detailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes pertaining to IT infrastructure and systems planning
Strong project management and analytical skills
