Accountant Required in Dubai

Our client is looking to hire a talented and dedicated General Accountant to join their growing team in Abu Dhabi or Dubai. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing daily financial operations, preparing accurate reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and supporting management with timely financial insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably within the food industry.
Strong understanding of accounting standards and principles (GAAP/IFRS).
Practical experience in general ledger management, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
Proficient in preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Experience handling accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and payroll-related entries.
Capable of completing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings.
Skilled in tax filing and compliance, including VAT and corporate tax.
Proficient in accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Tally, or similar ERP platforms.
Advanced MS Excel capabilities (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas).
Strong communication skills for effective reporting and coordination.
Willing to work in Abu Dhabi or Dubai.
Preferably available to join immediately or within a maximum of one month.
