Profile
CPA / CA / ACCA or equivalent with CIA and work experience of 10 -15 years; additional certifications like CFE / CISA preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
Should have good knowledge in IA testing and reporting, as well as software tools
Should have conducted Internal Audits or worked in the UAE in multiple areas – with at least two or more of the following sectors: Money Exchanges / Real Estate / Hospitality / Manufacturing / Retail
Should have led a team of at least 5 or more internal auditors in outsourced Internal Audit assignments
Past experience in leading outsourced / co-sourced IA assignments independently with reporting to Audit Committees
Experienced in developing Policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for clients, and ideally having worked in process consultancy assignments
Preferably having exposure to other related areas such as Escrow Account Audits, ERM, Due Diligence engagements etc.
Job Roles
Meet or exceed department profitability budgets by controlling and utilizing resources efficiently
Track budgets allotted and utilized (man-hours spent on jobs)
Closely monitor hours spent by team and back office to ensure timely completion
Ensure that monthly billing is achieved as per target and that work is executed as planned to align with budgeted timelines for invoicing
Ensure that invoices are prepared and sent to clients in a timely manner; coordinate with client for progressive invoicing
Ensure that the invoiced fees are collected as per the agreed terms of the business
Support Accounts team in payment follow-ups
Deliver client expectations in accordance with our agreed scope of work and continuously ensure value addition to clients
Resolve any client issues involving the assignment or regarding team members promptly
Obtain positive feedback from clients for use on website or for other references
To provide support for all marketing efforts of the department, with specific focus to outsourced Internal Audit related engagements
Participate in pre-sales meetings with prospective clients and help in preparation of proposals
Provide content for blogs all other marketing and digital marketing requirements
To leverage on relationships with satisfied clients to generate additional revenue
Give clear objectives to team members overall and for each engagement and set workflows for all engagements
Resolve issues faced by the team by coordinating with clients to keep engagements on schedule.
Encourage and motivate the team to ensure that they perform optimally
Display a positive attitude and ability to get along with the co-workers, staff, seniors, and clients
Demonstrate ability to handle multiple types of client segments in parallel
Have the flexibility in taking on engagements which may require additional learning of new industry verticals during the process of execution
Ensure that all assignment related documents are stored and uploaded properly by the Team Leads and auditors
Monitor time sheets of all assignments executed to ensure that data is populated correctly and on time
Review reports of invoicing, job profitability and receivables on a monthly basis and take suitable actions as needed
