Human Resources Operations Manager Required in Dubai
Primary Purpose of Job: To manage all the operational functions of HR, to ensure compliance at school level with policies and procedures.
Key Relationships: Principals, SLT members, Central Office staff and SEB, School HR Advisors, external agencies including health insurance provider.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Service Development / Operational Excellence
Responsible for creating, reviewing, and streamlining all CO and school HR processes and procedures, including integration with other CO departments, to improve efficiencies, reduce timescales and paperwork, minimise errors and delays and optimise HR service delivery.
Will take a lead role in managing and preparing for auditors, ensuring all information requested is provided efficiently and accurately, working to ensure that risks to the company are kept to a low rating.
Responsible for the HR Newsletter.
Needs to be well trained on the Taaleem’s Oracle HR system and be well versed to navigate through it.
Developing and maintaining HR online ‘toolkit’ in One Drive to ensure all HR Representatives have access to appropriate documentation and tools to do their jobs effectively.
Operate as a key member of the HR leadership team and contribute to meetings and action plans accordingly.
Assist the HR Director in reviewing company policies and making recommendations where necessary.
Has full ownership of employee files and documentation for CO staff.
Oversee the onboarding of CO Staff in consultation with the respective CO Head of Department.
Responsible for overseeing CO Probations periods, ensuring all documentation is in place and meetings are undertaken in consultation with relevant CO Head of Department.
In partnership with the HR Director, promote, offer support and follow up on the performance management cycle and ensure all CO staff KPIs and appraisals are completed and filed for record to capture performance is up to date with all UAE Labour Laws.
Has ownership of all CO and School organisational charts, ensuring they remain accurate and up to date.
Regular review and update of group wide job descriptions, maintaining a clear standardisation.
Provide support on projects as agreed by the HR Director.
Offer support during the annual budgeting exercise of staffing in consultation with the CO Education Team.
Performance Management
Oversee the Taaleem Appraisal policy and procedure, maintaining standardised documents and templates for all tiers of employees.
Collate and analyse performance reviews, producing reports for Senior Management highlighting performance trends and training needs analysis.
Collate and present end of year KPI results, including bonus impact for review at Taaleem Remuneration Committee.
Employee Relations / Engagement
Support the HR Director in providing accurate and timely HR advice to employees, HR Advisors, Principals and Line Managers ensuring high-quality HR service in accordance with Taaleem Policy and UAE Labour Law.
Responsible for running the annual Your Voice Matters Survey and creating presentations for all Principals including any follow up with the Head of HR on action required by schools to address employee concerns.
Support with the development of new employee forms, handbooks and Taaleem HR templates and maintaining standardisation.
Oversee medical cover benefits, terms and conditions, cards and their issuance to staff including monitoring of duplication of benefits for CO employees as required.
Position Requirements:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or relevant management or field-specific qualification
Experience: 5+ years in HR / HR Administration
Competencies: Communication Skills, Analytical and Critical Thinking, Relationship-Building, Leadership and team- working, Innovative and Solutions-focused
Attributes: Experience in a fast-paced HR environment, resilient, with a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail. Confident and excellent communication skills, able to handle complex and sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
