About the Job:
We’re looking to hire an enthusiastic and skilled individual for Human Resources Executive Role in our organization. The key purpose of this role is to manage all day-to-day HR activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations from a people perspective. The ideal candidate will support the full scope of Human Resources responsibilities and partner with the organization on strategic people-centric initiatives. They will maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating human resources policies, programs, and practices.
Key Role Responsibilities:
Recruitment and Selection - Recommend, Draft and Implement plans to attract, retain, and motivate team members. Manage the recruitment process for employees ensuring that the right talent is identified and attracted. Coordinate the advertising of vacancies, assess applications, consult with head-hunters as required and interview applicants. Coordinate and manage the orientation of new employees, process probationary reviews and employee evaluations. Analyse the skills and qualities required for each job and develop job descriptions. Manage the onboarding and induction process for employees.
Skills Development - Identify required training/skills/competency needs within the Company. Coordinate career development and talent management needs in partnership with functional leads. Implement a skills development plan as required for staff, within the prescribed timeframe.
HR Reporting - Manage the HRMS. Compile monthly management reports as required.
Performance Management - Implement performance management initiatives to ensure enhanced knowledge and skills sharing/transfer. Oversee and manage the Probationary Period and Annual Appraisal Reporting System.
Policies and Procedures. Develop, update, and implement all HR policies and procedures.
Budget & Cost Management - Set salary scales and allowances to ensure parity across the Group. Drive HR-related cost savings and manage HR budgets as set by executive management working in conjunction with the Finance Lead.
Administration - Manage the HRMS Payroll System and be responsible for forwarding final Pay Run Excel Data with Finance within the required timeframe.

Qualifications
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Human Resources
3 to 5 years' experience in Human Resources
Strong recruiting and demonstrated ability to improve talent acquisition strategies
Demonstrated expertise training managers and employees
Strong organizational, critical thinking and communications skills
Diligence and good judgement
Good understanding of Labor Law and employment equity regulations.
