Human Resources Assistant Required in Dubai

We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to assist and support the HR Manager with the day-to-day HR functions.

Experience and Skills:

At least 3 years of UAE work experience in HR management.

Human Resource management working knowledge and sufficient understanding of UAE labor law.

Knowledge of HR processes.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in Microsoft Office with a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel, for all reporting purposes.

Able to remain calm and work under pressure.

Ability to multitask.

To be proactive and able to solve problems with confidence.

Must have experience processing employment visas and administering health insurance.

Key Responsibilities:

Recruitment

Handling the full cycle recruitment for every department which includes preparing the job descriptions, posting job adverts on various platforms (Indeed, LinkedIn, TEFL.com, and Facebook), screening CVs, and setting up interviews with the relevant heads of departments.

Responsible for the recruitment process and employee management during the summer/winter camp projects.

Preparation of offer letters for new employees.

Onboarding and Offboarding

Inducting and onboarding new employees including providing them with all documentation required for onboarding for both the Dubai and London office.

Liaising with the operations manager and IT department to ensure that the work tools and office equipment are provided for the new employee.

Introducing the recruit to their colleagues and showing them around the company.

Conduct exit interviews and make sure the handover process runs smoothly.

Liaising with the IT department to ensure that employees who exit the company follow the correct exit procedures.

Visa processing and health insurance.

Processing employment visas and administering health insurance for all employees.

Managing queries regarding the visa and health insurance process.

General HR Administration

Assisting with the day-to-day HR functions and duties for both Dubai and London.

Providing clerical and administrative support to the HR Manager.

Working closely with the HR Manager to ensure compliance with the Labor Law.

Managing sick, annual, maternity, and unpaid leave.

Compiling and updating all relevant employee data and documentation and filing soft copies in the CRM portal and Google Drive.

Acting as the liaison between the HRM and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

Assisting with creating some policies, processes, and documents.

Employee welfare:

o Decorating work areas and arranging gifts and cakes for all staff birthdays

o Working with the Social Activities Manager to plan and prepare for staff functions.

Supporting the Finance Department with the payroll process by confirming new employees, salary details, leave management, gratuity payment, etc.

Developing strong interpersonal relationships with all members of staff.

AED 6,000 per month
