HR Analyst

Reports to: Sr. HR Manager – HRBP & Employee Relations

Key Accountabilities
To support the HRBP, Employee Relations and Recruitment function in developing and analysing workforce related reports to determine KPI attainment and identification of trends. In addition will be responsible for coordinating, supporting and managing key HR reporting processes and programs whilst maintaining high standards of data integrity
Seeks out best practice in HR analytics and data integrity ensuring regulatory compliance to protect the interest of stakeholders.
Maintains statistical reports concerning workforce data to determine KPI attainment and trends.
Develops, automates, standardises, schedules and publishes key reports and analysis to help disseminate data and insights in a controlled environment.
Develops and communicates the monthly dashboards and all relevant diagnostic reporting for the functions of HRBP, Employee Relations and Recruitment
Supports the department in analysing trends and interpreting data and reports to support the team in driving
The right people initiatives to improve talent management and performance.
Sourcing strategies and on time hiring practices.
Engagement strategies to improve employee wellbeing and retention.
Translates the functions and business requirements into reporting deliverables and ensures that proper documentation is created for repeatability and quality
Develops and works toward continual improvement of predictive analytics for the function to report on HR trends.
Conducts academic and best-practice research, compiles technical and general-audience overviews of findings and connects conclusions to practical applications for the function.
Forms hypotheses, investigates data, and answers questions; compiles reports and proactively develops and manages next steps based on results.
Translates data and trends into strategies and stories using impactful visualisation and narrative.
Contributes to advanced modelling projects, using knowledge of statistical methods to assist with creation and calibration of validated tools and predictive models.
Ensures stakeholder understanding of models, metrics, and findings and assists the functions in the decision-making process
Supports the department with complex projects and analysis, including gathering requirements, collaborating with key stakeholders and ensuring timely completion of deliverables.
Participates in setting and achievement of objectives, seeking on-going support, direction and self-development so that results are achieved.
Essential Requirements & Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or HR, CIPD is desirable Experience & Knowledge
Minimum 5 years’ experience developing HR and people based analytics.
Experience gained within a large organisation and must have a good understanding of applying a range of statistical methods.
Proficient and advanced user of MS Excel and Oracle BI Analytic reporting
Strong attention to detail and problem solving capabilities
Possesses analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to seek and synthesize information from a variety of sources and draw solid conclusion based on in depth analysis;
Ability to prioritize projects
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with all organisational levels
