HSE Engineer - Dubai

We are hiring a Senior HSE Engineer to be deputed to a governmental entity in the UAE.

We are seeking an experienced HSE professional with a strong track record in safety leadership, regulatory compliance and risk management on large-scale projects. The successful candidate will take responsibility for developing and implementing HSE systems, driving safety culture on-site, and acting as the primary HSE contact for the client authority.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and maintain HSE policies, procedures and standards tailored to the project and aligned with UAE legislation and international best practice.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant UAE laws, authority requirements and recognised HSE standards.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits and investigations; identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare clear reports and present findings to project management and governmental representatives.
• Deliver HSE awareness and training sessions for project teams and stakeholders.
• Act as the focal point for all HSE matters with the governmental client and coordinate responses to regulatory queries or inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, HSE or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years’ HSE experience in the UAE — experience on large-scale projects is strongly preferred (UAE experience is mandatory).
• Male candidates only.
• Preferred nationalities: Jordanian & Egyptian.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE regulatory frameworks and international HSE standards.
• Strong communication, reporting and leadership skills; ability to liaise with authorities, contractors and multidisciplinary teams.
