Role Description The Heavy Bus Driver role at Aman Public Transport is a full-time, on-site position based in Abu Dhabi. The driver is responsible for operating heavy buses safely along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws, and following company policies and schedules. Daily tasks include performing basic vehicle inspections before and after trips, reporting any mechanical issues, and keeping the bus clean and orderly. The driver will assist passengers with boarding and disembarking when needed, handle fare-related inquiries, and provide courteous customer service. The role also involves completing trip logs or reports, collaborating with dispatch and supervisors, and following all safety and emergency procedures.
Qualifications

Strong heavy vehicle operation skills, including experience with bus and truck driving.
Proficiency in defensive driving practices and adherence to road safety regulations.
Background in driver training or willingness to participate in ongoing training and certification.
Customer service skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and clearly with diverse passengers.
Valid heavy vehicle driving license appropriate for bus operation in Abu Dhabi and a clean driving record.
Knowledge of local traffic laws and familiarity with Abu Dhabi routes is an advantage.
Ability to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs.
Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading schedules, completing logs, and understanding instructions.
Good physical health and capability to sit for extended periods and assist passengers when needed.
