As the Reception Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our venue while upholding the highest standards of quality and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Leadership: Act as the Manager on Duty, supporting departmental targets and KPIs, ensuring operational excellence, and providing feedback to departmental managers.
Team building: Maintain a well-trained team of receptionists and hosts capable of enhancing the experience of all in the room. A multi-skilled group as adept at handling our live tee-off schedule as they are at hosting large groups in our bespoke private rooms.
Guest Experience Enhancement: Maintain a visible presence to both staff and guests, anticipate and address issues, and exceed guest expectations through proactive measures. Utilize suggestive selling techniques to maximize revenue while upholding cash control standards.
Safety and Compliance: Lead safety efforts for guests and team members, actively monitoring and addressing concerns to ensure a safe environment for all.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a leadership role within a high-volume venue, with a focus on guest service and operational efficiency.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage, train and motivate a diverse team.
Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance standards, with the ability to enforce policies and procedures effectively.
Demonstrated ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and maintain composure in a fast-paced environment.
Commercial acumen and the ability to drive business objectives while enhancing the guest experience.
