Tashkeel is seeking an experienced Graphic Designer & Illustrator with a strong focus on professional illustration and vector artwork.The successful candidate will work in the office across Tashkeel and Tasmeem Tashkeel Art & Design Collective, creating original illustrations and graphic design for in-house campaigns, exhibitions, advertising and communications, as well as commissioned projects for corporate, cultural and private clients.This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves illustration and design, works efficiently, manages time exceptionally well and takes pride in seeing their work progress from concept to a professionally produced final outcome.A key part of the position is working closely with our design and production teams. Illustrations may be developed for print, packaging, merchandise, corporate gifts, signage, products, installations and other physical applications. Candidates with experience preparing artwork for professional production will have a strong advantage.
Key Responsibilities· Create high-quality original illustrations, vector artwork and graphic design across a wide range of projects.· Develop illustrations from initial sketches and concepts through to polished, production-ready artwork.· Create scalable, clean and technically accurate vector files suitable for professional production and large-format applications.· Design campaign materials, publications, exhibition collateral, advertising, social media assets, packaging, merchandise and corporate projects.· Work confidently with both Arabic and English typography and visual communication.· Collaborate closely with Tashkeel's designers, production specialists, project teams and other departments.· Prepare accurate production files including vectors, cutting paths, bleeds, colour profiles, dimensions and print specifications.· Adapt illustrations and designs for different materials, formats, scales and production processes.· Review proofs, samples and prototypes and make necessary artwork adjustments before final production.· Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines without compromising quality.· Maintain organised working files, source files and final artwork.· Keep up to date with new illustration, design, motion and digital tools.
Software & Technical SkillsCandidates should have advanced professional knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly:Illustration & VectorAdobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Fresco and other professional vector-based illustration tools.Experience with Affinity Designer, CorelDRAW, Procreate, Clip Studio Paint or similar professional illustration software is advantageous.Candidates must demonstrate excellent understanding of vector construction, paths, layers, scalable artwork, colour systems, file formats and preparing high-resolution artwork for professional production.Motion & DigitalKnowledge of Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro and Adobe Animate is an advantage, particularly for transforming illustrations and graphic assets into motion content.UX/UI & Digital DesignWorking knowledge of Figma and Adobe XD or equivalent UI/UX platforms is advantageous, including the ability to create digital layouts, interface graphics and responsive visual assets.Knowledge of Blender, Cinema 4D or other 3D visualisation software is an additional advantage but not essential.
Requirements· Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Illustration, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related field.· Minimum 7 years of professional experience in graphic design and illustration.· Professional proficiency in Arabic and English.· Strong portfolio with a clear emphasis on original illustration and vector artwork.· Advanced Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign skills.· Strong understanding of typography, composition, colour and visual storytelling.· Excellent knowledge of preparing artwork for professional print and production.· Experience working with Arabic typography and bilingual layouts.· Strong attention to detail and file organisation.· Excellent speed and time-management skills.· Ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.· Comfortable receiving creative direction and implementing revisions efficiently.· Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team.

Important: This Is an Office-Based PositionThis role requires the successful candidate to work full-time from Tashkeel’s office in Nad Al Sheba 1, Dubai and collaborate in person with our design, production and project teams.This is not a hybrid or remote position.
