We are a Contracting Company based in Dubai and looking for General Accountant having the below experiences and requirements.

Some Responsibilities :
Handle accounts independently through till finalization of financial statements and handle all company financial matters with the management of company owners.
Full Responsibility for all financial matters related to Multiple Large Multi-Family Construction/Development Projects.
Prepare Monthly Progress Draw
Prepare Payments and Coordinate Approval Signatures
Filing of Monthly VAT Returns
Ability to file future Corporate Tax per the Predetermined Regulations
Monitor and Ensure Accuracy of Costs Coded to Assigned Projects
Monitor Project Costs, Report Unexplained Variances
Maintain Project Related Records
Maintain Integrity of General Ledger for Construction and Development Projects
Follow All Aspects of Month End Close Activities
Inter-company Reconciliation
BOQ based budgeting and project monitoring.

Experience Required :
Minimum 3 Years Experience as Project Accountant in Construction (Low, Mid and High Rise Experience is Preferred)
Construction Loan Draw
Costing & Budget/Cost Variance Analysis
Total A/P Responsibility
Experience preparing VAT returns, familiar with VAT rules/requirements

Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and a minimum of 2 years of project accounting experience; or an equivalent of education and experience required.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office and advanced Excel skills.
Strong communication skills (English - both written and oral)
Advanced organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Working experience with accounting software and project management information systems.

Experience required :
- Accountant : 3-5 years in UAE with Contracting/Construction company (Required)
- Well known experience with most of accounting software’s. (Required)
- VAT Filing : 3 years in UAE (Required)

Package :
- Salary: AED 4,000.00 - AED 5,000.00 per month (all inclusive)
- Health Insurance will be provided as well.

**Preferred candidates from India and Pakistan only.
** Should have UAE Driving license.
