Food and Beverage Specialist Required in Dubai
As a Food and Beverage Specialist you are responsible for the short and long term planning and the management of the food & beverage operations in the front and back of house to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals. The role involves managing and achieving of profit and quality for all food & beverage operations in the hotel, including restaurants, catering and banquet operations. Job Description
Review and approve Plans for food and beverages menus in line with requirements, expectations and preferences of site based employees; Coordinate with stakeholders and end users, review service quality;
Ensure wide range of food and beverages selection available at all the time;
Ensure sufficient stock of food provision; monitor actual consumption and plan cost optimization for new orders;
Manage catering service provider performance
Conduct physical checking and inspections of all facilities designated for F&B supplies: restaurants, pantries, coffee stations; together with F&B Supervisor;
Oversee Kitchen operations and address findings to Head of Hospitality and Community Management;
Ensure all facilities set with furniture and fixtures according to agreed standards and HSE requirements;
Review and Prepare monthly reports to Head, Manager & Director on catering related services, address customer feedback and complains;
Review and Prepare reports on F&B consumptions and requirements, provide proposal plans on service delivery improvements; coordinate with F&B Supervisor;
Continuously collect customer feedback and send to Head of Hospitality and Community Management;
Monitor all servicing and kitchen staff training calendar and ensure no overdue trainings or certifications; report to Head of Hospitality and Community Management;
Conduct customer surveys and collect reports based on management directions and instructions
Qualifications
Higher Secondary or equivalent
3 years’ experience in the food and beverage or related professional area
Minimum 2 year of supervisory experience
High levels of respect and integrity
