Financial Analyst Required in Dubai

Our client is looking for a versatile and organized Financial Analyst to be based in Dubai, UAE.

In this role, you will mainly be responsible for downloading and reporting data from the Bloomberg terminal and other banking platforms, scheduling and executing periodic payments, and managing counterparty relationships. Ideally you should some investment knowledge likely gained from your personal interest in the markets or previous roles.

Responsibilities:

Data download from Bloomberg and private banking platforms
Monthly reporting of investment positions and performance
Frequent communication and dissemination of data between private banks, accountants and auditors in relation to ensuring Financial Statement and VAT reporting deadlines are met.
Keeping abreast of periodic payments and ensuring these accurately processed once authorized

Requirements:

Degree involving statistics, banking or economic analysis
3 – 5 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience in creating documents and spreadsheets, using Bloomberg and office software such as Excel and PowerPoint.
Discretion and confidentiality are of utmost importance
