Skills and experience

Hold a Chartered Accountant or equivalent designation (essential)
At least three year’s experience in a management accounting role (e.g. Financial
Manager) preferably in the start-up or scaling business environment
Lead a high-performing accounting and/ or treasury team
Experience with company consolidations and investor-based reporting
Broad knowledge in accounting systems, their functionality and options on the market
Strong organisational skills and great attention to detail
Knowledge of e-commerce or logistic space is a plus
You thrive in a fast-paced start-up and are able to work in a high-pressure environment
Positive and proactive nature, ready to get things done
Entrepreneurial mindset, independent thinker who is not afraid to get their
hands dirty, try new things, solve problems and move fast
Excellent leadership skills with a passion for building and managing a high
performing team
Key Responsibilities:

Maintaining internal controls
Preparing accurate and timely monthly management accounts
Collecting of receivables
Receipt and remittance of cash received on behalf of clients
Monthly payroll processing in four countries (with the help of external services providers
as needed)
Managing audit requirements per legislative requirements
Preparing and executing on launch of new geographies/markets
Implementing automation systems
Monthly consolidation of four + companies
Monthly cash flow analysis and forecasting
Developing and maintaining internal controls
Identification of financial and business risks and implementation of improvement plans
Relationship with external accounting service providers
Ensuring all statutory deadlines and legal requirements are met including annual
financial statements, employee and tax related matters etc.
Cash Flow management and forecasting
Profit and loss analysis and improvement initiatives
About the role:

We are looking for a motivated, ambitious and experienced Head of Finance to be responsible for our Accounting and Treasury department with the goal of maintaining our company’s financial health, implementing and maintaining stringnet processes and controls and ensuring we meet all statutory requirements. This is not a routine management accountant role but an operational leadership position responsible for upholding highest standard internal and external reporting.
