E-commerce Sales Specialist

Location
In this position, you will be based in our office in UAE -Dubai. This job requires frequent traveling to the Regional Markets in the Middle East.
Job purpose
The position oversees all e-commerce activities for ASICS, including key account management, marketing activities, partner website capabilities, and operations. The expectation for this position is to meet or exceed the annual sales and profitability target for the ASICS mono-brand e-commerce platform. In addition, to optimize sales, relations, service, procedures, and margins for Key Accounts.
The person in this position must align with the global and local guidelines for ASICS, and success in this position will largely depend on adopting a sound strategy and communication skills to gain the support of internal and external parties.
The E-commerce Specialist will be responsible for increasing customer conversions and developing ASICS’s regional digital proposition for the market through wholesale and partner mono-brand e-commerce channels.
Reports directly to Sales Manager the Middle East and within the matrix GM Middle East.
Manages partner ASICS e-commerce platform/platforms. Manages assigned regional e-commerce key accounts
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategy, Sales Delivery & Financial
Establish & implement the regional ASICS e-commerce strategy to reach targets defined while ensuring alignment with global ASICS e-commerce guidelines
Work with the Sales Manager to build the annual financial budget for the partner e-commerce website within the countries, analyzing historical performance data and market activity.
Undertake regular and purposeful audit visits to assigned key accounts + partner e- com in a systematic and consistent manner. Actively pursue strategies to positively impact online profitability.
Manage the partner e-commerce sites within the area to maximize sales through a focus on KPIs.
Deliver the sales and profit targets for the area, increasing traffic and conversion rates. Assist partner in costs, productivity, controllable P&L costs, stock loss.
Demonstrate effective business planning, maximizing opportunities, minimizing risk, and taking corrective action when needed
Oversee all commercial e-com activities and sales achievements, including content calendar and merchandising
Responsible for the definition of clear action plans to achieve ambitions based on solid performance, environment and competencies analysis
Monitor the competitive environment and adjust strategy and action plans accordingly
Responsible for all product categories, ensuring business opportunities are maximized to their potential
2. Key Account Management
Maintains and develop relations with assigned e-commerce Key Accounts
Meets them regularly and negotiates on the composition of collections, prices, conditions, and marketing activities.
Prepare a detailed seasonal documentation overview upon SMU (Special Make up’s) and in-line assortment ensuring the range is commercial and profitable.
Drafts conditions/contracts for assigned e-commerce Key Accounts consults the relevant employees within the company about proposed conditions and supports to drive closure of them.
Creates and executes e-commerce Key Account Plans for the assigned customers.
Serves as point of contact for questions or problems for the assigned customers.
Acquires new business
Monitor and analyze the sales and sell-through figures of assigned e-commerce customers. Spots and analyses business opportunities with existing and potential customers and initiates follow-up action.
3. Store Standards, Stock, Marketing, and VM
Consults with the Sales and Merchandising team and provides input to help build assortments within each market.
Working side by side with relevant departments to ensure that the stock package, standards, and VM are correct for each store;
Monitoring mix and depth of product, sales density etc. Commercial acumen, best sellers, space management.
Ensuring VM presentation and merchandise layout of all stores represents the brand image. Maintains consistency throughout store standards to ensure the customer journey replicates the brand identity.
Consult with Marketing and Product teams to ensure alignment and execution of commercial calendar within Brand guidelines
Reporting & Analysis
Oversees providing timely and accurate weekly estimates & comments.
Responsible to compile and lead all short-, medium- or long-term forecasts.
The key contact for any ad-hoc request into the performance of E-com business
Provide timely and accurate reports, dashboards analysis related to E-com business
5. Operations
Monitor Exchanges and refunds related to partner e-com business
Responsible for monitoring inventories and stock movement management for partner
6. Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor Diploma in the field of Commerce, Marketing, Ecom or Innovation
5 years of relevant working experience
A versatile professional with a clear understanding of E-commerce (Strategy, sales performances, merchandising)
Advanced experience in using, Google Analytics and Microsoft Excel
Possess Salesforce Cloud knowledge
Ability to increase E-Commerce sales by proposing a strong strategy with an analytical mind
Demonstrates attention to detail
Strong interpersonal relationships skills
Digital and technology knowledge
